The Sweet Season

As always, we kick off the season of sweet, in several countries, with Halloween or an equivalent. This rain of candy of all shapes, sizes, colors, and flavors seems to grant permission to let ourselves go and eat 'whatever' until somewhere around January 5. At that point, we suddenly notice the weight gain (where did that come from?), the spacey feeling, the indigestion and the reason that we have a new bottle of TUMS or other antacid in the cabinet.

During the season of sweet, quite often, the body starts to object to the onslaught long before we quit. That's because many of us overdo the rich foods for two months. How do you fix the itch?

Start taking cinnamon. Whether in sticks for tea or powdered form, cinnamon helps curb the urge for sugar. Fenugreek does a good job, too but it is high in estrogen, so if that's not for you, use cinnamon.

Clean your colon of all the build-up, quickly. Colon hydrotherapy is one of the most effective ways of washing the entire length of the colon, without losing electrolytes and fluid from laxatives. To schedule your colon hydrotherapy sessions, call LawsOnHealth Wellness at 571-252-3428

Eat lots of fiber-rich foods. Greens, flaxseeds, chia, and hemp come to mind. Load up on all sorts of vegetables and don't forget - drink lots of water.
